Het is rond! Barcelona heeft de 222 miljoen euro voor Neymar binnen en de Braziliaan is nu transfervrij en kan naar Paris Saint-Germain. Dit is direct de grootste transfer aller tijden in het voetbal.
De vastgestelde afkoopsom is donderdag betaald door advocaten van de Braziliaan. Dit meldt Barcelona:
“On Thursday afternoon Neymar Jr’s legal representatives visited in person the Club’s offices and made the payment of 222 million euros in the player’s name with regards to the unilateral termination of the contract that united both parties.
As such, the Club will pass on to UEFA the details of the above operation so that they can determine the disciplinary responsibilities that may arise from this case.”
Neymar speelt sinds 2013 bij Barca en heeft 105 doelpunten gemaakt. Hij won de Champions League, twee kampioenschappen, drie keer de Copa del Rey, één keer het WK voor clubteams, de UEFA Super Cup en twee Spaanse Super Cups.
